Unlicensed Office Product Error when Using Office

- This problem is possibly due to a bug in Microsoft Office that has been resolved in the latest release of Office.
- To install the latest release of Office, go to the http://www.office.com/setup.
- You need to enter the product key of the Office you have purchased. On your account page, click Install. And then click Run.
- If this does not fix the activation problem, go to Step 2.
- Go to your account page (at https://login.live.com/login.srf), and then check whether your computer name is listed in the "Install Information" section.
- If the computer name isn’t listed, the problem is that your Office installation is not associated with the computer you are using you need to Activate Office on this computer.
- You can do this by phone. In any Office application, click File, Account, Activate Product. In the Activation Wizard, click “I want to activate the software by telephone”. Select Country and Region.
- Call the Product Activation Center phone number shown.
- Windows Registry is a common database used by Windows and applications like Microsoft Office to store critical information required for the software to work. The best way to fix this error is use the Microsoft Fix It, utility.
- Install the Fix It troubleshooter http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9843240, click Save in the File Download dialog box.
- When it's done, click Open folder, find the file (the name should start with O15CTRRemove) and double-click it to run the troubleshooter.
- After Fix it has run, restart the computer and see if the Office error is resolved.
